The Green Grocer- North Fitzroy

Celebrating flygirl's belated birthday bash, we found ourselves upon the green grocer- a place reknown for good breakfasts although in this instance ours was a dinner sojourn. Their slant is also organic (see living the good life) and the food looked and tasted good although something seemed to be missing- whatever it was I couldn't put my finger on it!?! Is it me?

breadie goodness & dukkah & olivia's oil

roast quail & sausage served with a jus (dang, can't remember other
than it was syrupy) and snow pea shoot with apple slivers

sage chicken wrapped in prosciutto served on broccolini and rapé
fettucini carbonara
...there was more food, but didn't get a chance to take pics so hopefully flygirl may indulge us with some more prety photos of her mushroom ragu and the pop art cupcake pix!
